15 years of manufacturing experience stands behind every Milwaukee chisel. A high-quality chisel must be resistant to everyday chopping and demolition work. In order to reduce the risk of breakage, low wear is required from the chisel when the high impact energy is transmitted. With these goals in mind, great emphasis is placed on the correct selection of raw materials and the use of the latest production methods.
All chisels are individually machined during forging, shaping, hardening and further heat treatment. Chisels are forged using a very precise process using knowledge from traditional forging combined with modern point shaping technology. Heat treatment is a closed and computer-controlled process, ensuring constant conditions. Thanks to this, it is guaranteed that the entire chisel is hardened to a value of 55 HRC. During heat treatment, a continuous hardened surface is formed on the entire surface of the chisel. This ensures its wear resistance and its necessary flexibility. During the shaping of chisels, their surface becomes fine-grained and receives a special corrosion protection. Reforging will extend the life of chisels. Milwaukee chisels are 100% quality.
Maintenance Tips:
- We recommend regularly lubricating the stem with lubricating grease.
- Regularly clean the stem from dust.
- Do not put too much pressure on the hammer and thus on the chisel.
- Do not store chisels in sub-zero temperatures, if this happens by accident, warm them up before use. Rusty chisels are more likely to wear out sooner.
